Title: Venue Manager
Reports to: Director Food and Beverage
Position Overview:
The Venue Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Lovedale Bar and Grill, Pool Bar and in room dining . You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining ambitious standards of service, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the business.

Key Accountabilities
Operational Leadership:Manage day-to-day restaurant or venue operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.Uphold and enhance the venue's reputation for excellence in food, service, and ambiance.Team Management:
Recruit, train, and motivate a team of dedicated staff members, including servers, chefs, bartenders, and support staff.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.Customer Experience:
Ensure an exceptional guest experience by consistently delivering outstanding customer service.Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, controlling expenses while maximising revenue.Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.Implement pricing and menu strategies to optimise profitability.Events and Marketing:
Plan and execute special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement marketing campaigns that drive business growth.Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Oversee inventory levels and procurement of food, beverages, and supplies.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms.Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and present findings to senior management.Utilize data and feedback to make informed decisions and improvements.

Skills & Experience
These are the desired skills and experience for this role:
Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.License Controller Qualification or General Manager certificate would be favorable.Proven understanding of food and beverage service standards.Proven understanding of restaurant financials and cost control.
