We deliver practical, workplace-based training, complemented by face-to-face and virtual mentoring and assessment services. Our Training centre, located in Wyong, welcomes students from far and wide, where we deliver first aid, professional development and skills workshops. Our hands-on approach to teaching provides students with real-life experience, ensuring they are well prepared to provide care to our most vulnerable.

The role

We are currently seeking highly motivated, proactive, and skilled trainers and assessors to deliver training for the following qualifications across various locations, including the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle:

  • Disability

  • Aged care

  • First Aid

  • Community Services

Selection criteria

  • Current industry experience as a disability or ageing support professional

  • TAE qualified or willing to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

  • Working with Children Check and/or National Police Check

  • NSW Drivers licence

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of virtual and face-to-face training sessions

  • Visiting workplaces to assess students' practical application

  • Offering support and guidance to students to reach each milestone of progression

  • Assessing students' work and providing feedback towards competency

  • Engaging with employers to determine industry needs and guide best practice

Key attributes and qualities of the successful candidate will include:

  • A confident and outgoing personality

  • Excellent phone and virtual meeting etiquette

  • Supportive, attentive, and encouraging nature

  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

  • Efficiently self-manage a schedule of appointments

  • Digital skills for online learning and experience in the use of online platforms

  • Flexibility to work in the office, from home, and in the field, visiting workplaces

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded

  • Qualifications and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in Disability, First Aid, or Health
