St John Ambulance (NSW) has a vacancy for a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver our various suite of First Aid courses in the Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter areas of NSW.
About the role:
You will be responsible for delivering high quality short courses in first aid and health to a diverse range of students at our premises, public course locations, and at various other corporate onsite venues.
St John Ambulance (NSW) has embraced state of the art technology to maximise student engagement, and provide a consistent and quality training experience. We are seeking a fulltime Trainer Assessor that is competent with technology and embraces the opportunity to bring innovative solutions to the training and facilitation experience.
The role requires a flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic Trainer Assessor who puts the student first and has a passion for helping people learn. You will need to be capable of keeping to a time table, be self-organised and provide a conducive learning environment for the students.
To be successful with your application you will need to:

Hold Certificate IV TAE 40116 its equivalent or higher

Experience in the provision of first aid or healthcare, and a sound understanding of the principles of First Aid

Outstanding training and facilitation skills

Comfortable and competent utilising technology platforms

Organised and reliable with high level attention to detail
-
Exceptional communication skills
-
Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
-
A current NSW drivers licence and reliable vehicle
