Your Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our fully equipped workshop in Mackay. Here, you’ll carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet of road construction equipment, including pavers, rollers, profilers, trucks, and more. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Essential
What You Bring:
MR Licence and Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter or Plant MechanicStrong fault diagnostic skills with hydraulic and auto electrical experienceWhite Card and your own basic hand toolsSafety-driven, with a commitment to a clean, safe work environment
Preferred But Not Required
HR Licence or higherExperience with road construction equipment (e.g., pavers, profilers, rollers)Confined Spaces and Forklift TicketsWelding and fabrication skills
