Description:
The role of the Case Support Worker is to provide efficient and effective administrative services to a multidisciplinary team who deliver statutory child protection intervention that includes assessment and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines.
The role provides day to day confidential administrative support that enhances case management efficiency.
The Case Support Workers key responsibilities are:
- Follow guidelines and administrative processes in relation to records management, finance and other administrative tasks that are consistent with departmental policies, procedures and departmental objectives.
- Provide administrative support to frontline staff including liaising/communicating with relevant stakeholders and service providers to implement and maintain appropriate casework and individualised service plans to achieve positive outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive matters.
- Participate effectively as a team member, meet deadlines and work collaboratively and flexibly in a multidisciplinary team.
- Use, update and monitor relevant databases to maintain accessible and clear case records consistent with departmental case management requirements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge relevant to the role, and actively participate in appropriate learning and development processes.
- Participate in the delivery of culturally responsive services as a member of a culturally capable workforce.
