Description:
Take pride in shaping a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at Darling Downs Health! As an Operational Services Officer – Grounds, you'll play a hands-on role in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces while supporting vital services like waste management, linen supplies, and fleet maintenance. Your work will make a real difference every day for patients, visitors, and staff. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you!
What your day will look like….
You'll be out in the fresh air, tending to gardens, walkways, and outdoor spaces to keep them safe and inviting. One moment, you might be mowing the lawns or refreshing flower beds, and the next, assisting with waste management, linen deliveries, or moving essential equipment across the facility. Whether working solo or as part of a supportive team, you'll take on a variety of tasks that keep the hospital running smoothly. Every task you complete helps create a better experience for patients, visitors, and staff—making your work both meaningful and rewarding.
