Description:
East Ayr State is looking for a keen and motivated team member to lead the implementation of version 9 of the Australia Curriculum and to continue our whole-school Reading approach. The role of Head of Department (Curriculum) is offered on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 6 months unless otherwise determined.
The successful applicant will lead our support team to enact our school-wide policies and procedures, assist with planning and documenting student support provisions and contribute to coaching and mentoring initiatives across our school.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
