The Opportunity
As a CT Radiographer at PWR, you will be an essential part of our quality control process, ensuring the precision and accuracy of our intricate cooling components. Operating advanced CT scanning equipment, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of the CT scanner to ensure accurate results.

Uphold a strong commitment to quality and precision in all scanning processes.

Inspect components using X-ray / CT equipment.

Review / analyse defects to determine conformance to customer / industry requirements.

Communicate any issues found during inspection

Compile and create quality documents for submission to customers

Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure compliance to Qld Health requirements.

Assist Senior quality inspectors when required.

Maintain a tidy workplace.
Your Skills and Experience
Please note: We are open to hearing from both experienced CT scanners and Mechanical Engineering Graduates. We recognise graduates will have limited experience however for experienced CT Scanners we are seeking:

Relevant certification in CT scanner operation
-
Proven experience in operating CT scanner equipment, preferably in a similar environment however we would also love to hear from people with CT scanner experience from a medical background.

Strong understanding of scanning procedures, protocols, and quality control.

Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and interpret subtle imperfections in scan data.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate
-
Adaptability and a proactive approach to handling new challenges.

Microsoft Excel and Word Skills
-
Queensland Radiation Use licence (preferable)

Experience with precision measuring instruments (preferable)

Strong time management skills
