About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to drive the Kitchen operations in our authentic Brazilian BBQ restaurant Bushfire Flame Grill. Offering a unique and immersive dining experience, our focus is on high-quality, flame-grilled meats served in the traditional churrasco style, paired with delicious sides and exceptional customer service. We are committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience and are looking for a creative and passionate chef to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team to create innovative and enticing menus that reflect our commitment to high-quality, seasonal ingredients and showcase your culinary expertise.

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

  • Inspire and lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff. Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to foster a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.

  • Work closely with the management team to control food costs and maximise profitability. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on the quality of ingredients or the guest experience.

  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures to create a safe and hygienic working environment.


About You

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a similar leadership role.

  • Extensive knowledge of Brazilian BBQ (churrasco) techniques and South American cuisine.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Knowledge of current food trends and a commitment to staying updated on industry developments.

  • Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and food safety standards.
