The Role
We are looking for a Family Lawyer to join our Spring Hill office in Brisbane city. The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience & Expertise:

Minimum of 3 years post-admission experience in family law.

Strong experience in family court matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and spousal maintenance.

Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.

Ability to work independently.
Client Relations & Communication:
-
Proven ability to build strong client relationships and provide clear, practical legal advice.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Teamwork & Mentoring:
-
Ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior lawyers effectively.
Professionalism & Ethics:
-
High standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional courtesy.
Technology & Organization:
-
Familiarity with LEAP legal software (or willingness to learn).

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle a diverse caseload.
Additional Experience:

Experience in related areas of family law (e.g., domestic violence, child support) a bonus

Willingness to undertake pro bono work from time to time

Our Sunshine Coast lawyers frequently work from the Spring Hill office, particularly on court days. There is the flexibility to attend our Sunshine Coast office from time to time.
