Nurseline is seeking an experienced Nurse Immuniser to provide workplace immunisation services. This role requires an independent and professional approach, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while managing vaccine administration and storage.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccines on-site at workplace locations in accordance with Australian immunisation guidelines.
• Educate employees on vaccine options, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Maintain accurate records of immunisations, including patient details and batch numbers.
• Store vaccines at home in a temperature-controlled fridge that meets Australian cold chain standards.
• Monitor and document vaccine storage conditions to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and privacy regulations.
• Work autonomously while maintaining communication with the employer or health management team.
• Provide clear advice to employees regarding immunisations and respond to any related questions or concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Completion of an accredited immunisation program, meeting requirements to work as a Nurse Immuniser.
• Experience in immunisation, including knowledge of vaccination schedules and cold chain management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
