The Role
This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the delivery of customer engagement initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement in the provision of quality service and experiences to our customers and stakeholders.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of TasPorts Customer Experience Strategy and Customer Engagement Road Map.
The Customer Engagement Manager will collaborate with and advise Senior Leaders, Commercial Managers and customer facing teams across the business to champion TasPorts customer service standards and deliver engagement opportunities aimed at improving our customer experience.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in TasPorts Corporate Office in Hobart. Flexible working hours may be negotiable for the right applicant.

What do you do?

Contribute to the development and oversee the implementation of the company wide customer experience strategy working with and influencing all parts of the business.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and tailor the development of customer engagement initiatives to address these needs.

Continuously develop feedback opportunities for customers and maintain learning registers for internal teams.

Assist with coordination of TasPorts Industry Engagement and Support Programs.

Oversee and coordinate an annual program of Customer events.

Maintain up to date information, records and tracking in TasPorts CRM system

Provide input into the customer communication strategy and coordinate customer communication materials
What do you need:
Essential:
-
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant disciple or demonstrated long-term industry experience
-
Analytical ability to interpret customers’ needs and champion customer requirements with the business divisions.

Possess excellent customer relationship management skills and have demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in a commercial environment.

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.

Ability to acquire and hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

Current drivers’ licence

Trade or Tertiary qualifications (in relevant discipline)

Relevant qualification in the field of marketing, business, and or relevant experience in a similar position.
