Permanent Full Time – Monday to Friday

Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.

Expressions of interest are sought from enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurses who would like to join our specialised 30-bed General Surgical ward, including colorectal and bariatic patients. Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an infusion suite, a 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.

Essential Criteria\:

· Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

· Current AHPRA Registration

· Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards

· Current evidence of vaccinations as required for the role

· Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital

· Committed to continuous quality improvement

· Committed to provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service

· Proven communication and interpersonal skills

· Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all Visiting Medical Officers

· Ability to facilitate and enhance teamwork and provide a supportive culture within the nursing team.

· Key role in operational management of the ward, including accountability for financial resources.

· Knowledge of Work health and safety issues.

· Committed to ongoing professional development and learning.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $58.81 to 64.02 per hour).
