What is the role?
We are now looking for a Professional, Software Engineer to join our Adelaide development team. We are seeking a full stack Java developer to be part of the design, development and maintenance of our next generation of our application in the banking and financial sector.
What will you be doing?
Be a part of a team that has full ownership of technical solutions, design, and implementationContributing to and undertaking the development, implementation and on-going maintenance of CoreLogic’s online products and servicesContributing to the systems, databases, infrastructure, code, and documentation underpinning the operational delivery of CoreLogic’s on-line products and servicesTaking appropriate steps to maximise the performance and availability of the products and servicesLiaising as required with clients, partners and CoreLogic staff to optimise the development and support of the company’s products and servicesDeveloping and supporting the online products and services to ensure quality user experiencesUndertaking application monitoring and contribution to monthly operations support.Providing technical assistance when required to the company generally
Job Qualifications:
Are you the right fit?
It is essential that the Professional, Software Engineer has:
Solid Java experience, SpringBoot preferredGood JavaScript/AJAX, CSS and HTML skillsGood Linux experience, preferably with shell-scripting abilitiesSound database experience, ideally MYSQL and PostgreSQLExperience in development at a junior level in a team-based setting
It is ideal that the Professional, Software Engineer has:
PHP experienceExperience with common AWS servicesExperience with modern software engineering practices including continuous integration and test-driven development.Experience with API development or Web development
Professional Competencies
Experience working in Agile Environments with strong SCRUM, and/or other Agile processesDesire to continually improve code qualityAbility to understand complex code baseStrong communication with all team membersOrganised and process focusedProblem solvingWorking with othersBeing accountable and adding value
