About the role
Adelaide Building Consulting is seeking a Building Consultant to join our growing team in Kent Town, South Australia. This full-time role will involve providing expert advice and guidance to clients on various building their new home. As a Building Consultant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of our clients' journey.
What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough site inspections and assessments to identify issues and provide recommendations

Advising clients on building regulations, codes, and industry best practices

Preparing detailed reports and proposals outlining recommended solutions

Liaising with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities

Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with relevant standards

Providing on-site support and guidance to clients throughout the construction process

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations
What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Building Consultant or similar role in the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders

Proficient in using relevant software and technology for project management and reporting
