Opportunities exist for experienced and committed Support Workers to assist a client live his best life on Kangaroo Island
We have several opportunities for experienced support workers to join our Kangaroo Island roster and work various shifts
You will be required to assist our client who has a high-level spinal cord injury with all aspects of his care needs.
Your roster would be 2 weeks on the island and 2 weeks off. Accommodation provided.
Suitable applicants must have:
- Certificate III in Individual Supports, Disability Cert IV or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Manual Handling certificate
- Reliable vehicle, sound driving history and a valid driver's licence
- Experience in supporting a client with a Spinal Cord Injury is preferred
- Clear communication, negotiating and listening skills.
- Have a person-centred approach and are confident in your practice
- Be available for immediate start.
