About your role:

As a Site Manager at UNITA, you will dive in and take responsibility for overall project planning + scheduling on site, whilst providing technical direction to ensure compliance with quality standards.

This role is available for a 2-3 month fixed-term contract based in Adelaide, however we are open to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate (travel to WA and VIC will be required for the permanent role). Please let us know in your screening questions which option you'd prefer.

What your days will look like:

  • Plan, organise and control the program, and quality of the day to day running of each project.
  • Undertake daily site visits, ensuring scope is completed and carry out WHS/Quality Checks.
  • Manage all site crew (including trades and sub-trades) to ensure they have the resources needed to complete the works.
  • Coordinate the timing and delivery of multiple trades across multiple projects.
  • Complete status reports on projects, ensuring to provide feedback to Project Managers.
  • Ensure that employees have an understanding of the project sites expectations.
  • Ensuring a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communication and on-site meetings.

What you will bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 3 years working within a commercial construction environment (fit out desired).
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License.
  • Trade Qualifications in Cabinetmaking, Joinery, Carpentry or Shop Fitting.
  • OH&S White Card.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Full legal working rights in Australia.
