We are currently expanding our team and seeking multiple skilled Electricians to join our vibrant team in Horsham Solar Farm. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems and components on construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate electrical installations and repairs in a project-based environment.
- Conduct regular maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Test and calibrate electrical equipment to guarantee accurate functionality.
- Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance system efficiency and safety.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical materials and tools.
- Follow site-specific safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety among team members.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians when needed.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Respond to emergency calls and address electrical issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be in possession of a current Victorian Electricians License.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry practices
- A construction industry white card induction, and high risk forklift license would be advantageous
