What We Are Offering
Funded TAE qualification: We will cover all costs for your TAE studies.Support and guidance: Mentorship provided by the NITA Training team to help you successfully complete your TAE (approximately a 6-month process).Career advancement: A salary step-up upon completion of the TAE and becoming a fully qualified VET Trainer and Assessor.Professional growth: Build a rewarding career as an in-demand professional in the education and training sector.Continued involvement: Be an integral part of the NITA program at ARR, with ongoing professional opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a graduate of NITA.Have a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience post-graduation in either Housekeeping, Front Office, or Food & Beverage. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Housekeeping and Front Office, or experience across all three areas.Hold a valid Class C Australian Driver’s Licence (desirable)Demonstrate the ability and desire to undertake a TAE qualification to become a VET Trainer.
Key Duties of a Trainer & Assessor (once you have completed your course)
Train and assess the current Certificate III in Tourism and Certificate III in Hospitality to Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) accreditation and regulatory standards and requirementsEnsure the effective and efficient delivery of the NITA program under the direction of the NITA Operations ManagerMaintain student records to ASQA accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements
