ABOUT GEMCO
Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 20% of the world's manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns. Residential option to live on Groote Eylandt considered.
As the Senior Contractor Management , you will be responsible for leading and executing the Contractor Management System of Work, ensuring compliance, governance, and strategic vendor management to support operational excellence.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Developing and implementing contractor management strategies & improvements
- Building strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Overseeing compliance, risk management & governance processes
- Leading & coaching a high-performing contractor management team
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Prior experience in Operations or Projects that involved management of Contractors (preferred)
- Influencing & negotiating to drive business-critical decisions
- Managing vendor relationships & contract governance
- Leading change, coaching teams & fostering a strong workplace culture
- Applying risk management & compliance best practices
Qualifications for this position are:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (desirable)
