About the role
An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager . This busy and rewarding role will see you oversee the maintenance services across all ARRCS sites across the Northern Territory .
You will ensure that sites are operating to legislative standards and operate to safety standard for our residents, visitors, staff and contractors. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to major projects such as new developments, major refurbishments, and upgrades.
As the successful candidate, you will bring to the organisation a background and knowledge of local contractors and suppliers. You will be up to date with WHS and Emergency legislation and be able to demonstrate a solid career in trades. You will be knowledgeable with facility and asset management and be able to support the organisation with auditing, record keeping and policy around working in safe practices.
In addition, you will be a supportive and approachable staff member. You will be able to manage sites remotely and be comfortable when required to travel to remote areas of the Northern Territory. In return, ARRCS are offering an attractive remuneration package and flexible working conditions.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
- Ability to support the development and implementation of appropriate procedures and guidelines to ensure the consistent and effective delivery of services, from either internal and external providers and suppliers.
- Broad understanding of building and building services related legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Understanding of relevant workplace health and safety regulations and continuous quality improvement practices.
- Experience in the effective delivery of services through a broad contractor/subcontractor base and ensure the appropriate performance of contractors in the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality and on-time outcomes within allocated budgets.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including strong stakeholder management skills and well-developed computer skills.
- Understanding of computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS), and the effective delivery of maintenance management services; and
- Availability to work after hours on an ‘On-Call’ roster, or ‘Call Out’ basis.
- Available to travel to ARRCS facilities across the NT when required.

ARRCS mandatory compliance:

- A National Police Check lodged or dated within 3 months of commencement.
