2 vacancies available at our client's rubber workshop based in Canning Vale.Day Shift: 6am-2.06pm
Afternoon Shift: 2pm to 10:06pm
About the role:
Operating manufacturing equipment including a shot blasting, spray painting, rubber hand lining, rubber compression and injection molding presses to produce rubber and PolyMet wear lining products. Shot Blasting and Spray painting along with manual labour.
Working in a team environment in the manufacture of a range of rubber and polymet screen media products, primarily for the mining industry and aggregate industry.
Duties will include but not limited:
- Forklift operation and Dogging (Desirable) to move steelwork and various products or the metal prep process.
- Electric metal cut off saw.
About you:
- Current forklift ticket
- Current Dogging License (Desirable)
- Reads production drawings in conjunction with works orders for product specifications such as cure times, molding blank weights, rubber quality, dimensions and tolerances.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of manufactured parts to specifications.
- Understands the quality requirements of the products and ability to perform first part quality check.
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- 2x Contactable References.
- Ability to pass PEM Medical and DAS.
