About the opportunity
Westgold Resources are sourcing a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Resourcing Specialist to join the People Team on a Full Time, 12 -month Maximum Term Contract. As a seasoned professional, the Senior Resourcing Specialist will attract, assess and acquire top talent for the business.
This role will be based in Westgold?s Perth Head Office, centrally located on St George's Terrace.
The role includes
- Partner with business leaders, key stakeholders and service providers to build a sustainable talent attraction framework and strategy to address resourcing gaps
- Source candidates via job boards, social media platforms and referrals
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process; from developing job advertisements to onboarding new hires for predominantly Underground workers
- Conduct initial screenings, face-to-face interviews and manage a seamless candidate experience
- Maintain applicant tracking system and data integrity
- Manage the Resourcing team inbox and ensure responses are provided in a timely manner
- Communicate and reinforce Recruitment related policies, framework and guidelines
- Mentor less experienced colleagues to enhance their learning and growth
What do I need?
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills including communication, influencing and team building skills
- Ability to deliver high volume resourcing objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Previous Senior Recruitment/ Talent Acquisition experience within a Mining Resources environment in an Underground environment
- A proactive approach to sourcing top talent while maintaining a general understanding of Westgold?s fundamentals
- Experience with engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel)
