Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Support Coordinator to join our team. As the Student Support Coordinator, you will lead and facilitate programs, collaborate with educators, parents, and external partners to ensure a holistic and supportive learning environment. Applicants with a skillset that demonstrates facilitation of evidenced based wellbeing programs knowledge of pathways is desirable.
Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS) is one of the largest schools in Western Australia, attracting students from diverse geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. With a student population of over 2300, approximately 200 teaching staff, and 70 support staff, the school offers an inclusive and comprehensive education for Years 7 to 12. It is the school of choice for many local and international families.

The Role
As the Student Support Coordinator, you would report to relevant Student Services Managers. Working alongside the large Student Services team, your primary focus will be supporting the attendance, behavioural, and social/emotional developmental needs of students, identifying and resolving barriers to educational engagement to facilitate improved academic achievement. You will ideally support the implementation of a social and emotional wellbeing program for students across all pathways. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school and the education of our students, assisting with the development and implementation of a range of school and department-based strategies to ensure responsive and effective support.
