MSWA is a leading provider of disability services and we’re offering exciting permanent part-time opportunities for the Mandurah and Rockingham area!
As a Community Support Worker , you’ll be the difference for individuals and families, delivering person-centered care and support directly in their homes across the Mandurah and Rockingham area.
This is your chance to bring your skills and passion to enhance the lives of our clients as they go about their daily routines. We’re looking for caring and empathetic support workers to join us with a focus on those located in the following suburbs:
Safety Bay
Golden Bay
Secret Harbour
Lakelands
Our hours of operation in the community are 6:30am - 10:30pm with a particular focus on the early mornings and late afternoons/evenings.We are keen to hear from people who are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide personal care to promote clients' health and well-being.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Support clients with meal preparation, household chores, and essential daily tasks.
- Facilitate social access and leisure activities.
- Tailor care plans to meet individual needs and goals.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A current Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A fully paid Training Course to set you up for success (you’ll need to be available for two weeks!).
