An exciting new role has opened within our import and export team. This position requires individuals who are energetic, motivated, and customer-focused. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day export-related tasks.
This role is best suited for someone who is hands-on and enjoys managing a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Key Activities
- Handle inquiries from new and existing clients
- Obtain rates from shipping lines, airlines, international offices, and obtain packaging specialists
- Prepare and provide quotations for clients, potential clients, and interstate/overseas offices
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clients
- Manage import and export project forwarding operations
- Coordinate with Customs and Operations Departments on freight forwarding matters
- Monitor shipments and provide regular status updates to clients and overseas offices
- Communicate any shipment delays or issues promptly to clients and relevant stakeholders
- Represent the company at project-related conferences and exhibitions as required
- Supervise project cargo load-outs, discharges, deliveries, and heavy-lift operations
Skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or Foreign Traded Economics
- 3 to 5 years of industry experience in import/export operations
- Strong customer service and client relationship skills
- Effective presentation and communication abilities
- In-depth knowledge of air freight and sea freight (FCL and LCL), as well as Australian road transport carriers
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in key applications
Proficiency in an Asian language highly desirable.
