Playpro is seeking an experienced and skilled landscaper to join our growing team based in Perth, WA.

At Playpro we specialise in delivering high quality landscape solutions to Local Government and the Early Education Sector.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a landscaper and will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality landscaping services to our commercial clients.

This is a permanent full-time position with opportunities to work across our projects in Perth & surroundings area, including occasional regional work.

In this role we are looking for someone with Landscaping and/or construction experience where you will be involved in everything, from layout and levels, operating excavators and skidsteer machines to carrying out hard landscaping. This involves but not limited to, limestone retaining walls, concrete paths, producing the finished play space with planting, play equipment installation, spreading mulch, etc.

This role is also hands-on and will require you to be a contributing team member with excellent communication skills.
Role Overview
Perform a variety of tasks related to outdoor space development, including landscaping, irrigation installation or repair, planting trees and vegetation, installing play equipment, and handling other duties that enhance the amenity of the outdoor space.

What you'll be doing

  • Reporting to our Landscape Construction Manager, you will coordinate with a team of landscape construction workers, to complete project tasks on schedule and to specification & program.
  • Carrying out all aspects of landscaping work, including site preparation, planting and hardscaping, whilst monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Working closely with a team to complete end to end construction of landscape projects, including but not limited to Site Preparation, Retaining, Fencing, Concreting, Planting, Irrigation and all other forms of soft and hard landscape services.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, including excavators and skid steers, for various landscaping tasks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, whilst being compliant with all the relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions in team discussions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our landscaping practices and processes.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a landscaper or in a similar role
    Early Education Landscape experience would be desirable, but not essential.
  • A White Card (construction industry induction).
  • Knowledge of WHS regulations and safe machinery operation
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices
  • Ideally, the right candidate would have Machine Tickets or experience (Excavator / Skid Steer)
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
    HR license would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in landscaping or a similar field.
