Purpose of Position:
-
Responsibility for and coordination of all Perth Production facility incoming and outgoing goods, including the management and maintenance of all associated processes and systems.

Managing the divisions’ export control and permitting program to ensure ongoing compliance.
-
To assist Production Management with the day-to-day administrative operations of the production facility, including SAP control, inventory control and purchasing.
Major Areas of Responsibility:

Source and purchase materials, products, or services as needed to meet business demands.
-
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring proper stock is maintained to avoid overstock or stockouts.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
-
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimal supply chain efficiency.
-
Collaborate with sales, production, and other departments to forecast demand and plan purchases and production accordingly.

Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
-
Working closely with QA, ensure that all purchased products meet company quality standards and resolve any quality issues with suppliers.
-
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of incoming materials.
-
Address and resolve any issues related to product shortages, delays, or discrepancies in deliveries.

Manage work orders within SAP to facilitate the manufacturing and assembly process, specifying the production quantity and expected completion date for the work orders, aligning with the overall demand forecast.

Track the status of the work orders in SAP to ensure that production processes are on schedule, adjusting as needed.

Update SAP with completed quantities and any relevant adjustments to ensure inventory levels reflect actual production outputs.

Continuously monitor and adjust work orders to ensure they meet changing demand requirements, modifying production plans as needed.

Conducting cyclic stocktakes in accordance with the required intervals.

Participation in audits as required.

Supporting logistics, including accommodating and managing the responsibilities and tasks as required.

Proactively ensuring all agreed key performance indicator metrics are achieved.

Product availability reporting to APAC Account Management and Service and Support.

Compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, participation in audits and compliance with instructions given in respect to the health and safety of themselves and the safety of others.

From time-to-time contribute to alternate tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor / Global Supply Chain Manager.
Knowledge and Experience - Required:
-
4-5 years’ experience in similar role.
-
Intermediate experience and skills with Microsoft Office suite of products.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Excellent problem-solving, negotiating skills, and analytical thinking.
-
Multilingual – Portuguese and Spanish
-
Strong sense of ownership, but with an ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.

Strong sense of urgency, being able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise where necessary.

Experience using SAP, including integrations and developing supplementary systems to review and track goods and material movements and requirements

Strong inter-cultural skills
Travel:
