What You’ll Do: As an Occupational Therapist at MSWA, you’ll be at the heart of transforming lives, working with individuals living with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, stroke, Motor Neurone Disease, and more. You’ll provide and coordinate evidence-based OT services, ensuring that clients achieve their goals of independence and improved quality of life.
Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate the impact of neurological conditions on daily activities and set personalised goals.Collaborative Care: Work closely with a dynamic team, clients, and external partners to recommend and deliver essential equipment.Therapeutic Interventions: Implement education, safety protocols, and assistive technology to maximise independence.Client and Carer Support: Offer vital advisory, educational, and support services to clients and their families.Mentorship: Share your expertise by guiding students, assistants, and volunteers in their learning journey.
What we need from you:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification).Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.Driver’s License: Valid Australian "C" Class Driver's License (with no restrictions).NDIS Worker Screening Check: (or willingness to obtain).First Aid & CPR Certification: Current First Aid certificate (we can help here if not).
