What You’ll Be Doing
- Category Strategy: Develop and execute annual category plans, ensuring a competitive and profitable range.
- Range Management: Identify new product opportunities, optimize assortments, and lead range reviews.
- Financial Performance: Own sales and profitability reporting, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
- Supplier & Trade Partner Management: Build strong relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize sourcing.
- Omni-Channel Growth: Align category strategies with eCommerce and retail trends to enhance the customer journey.
- Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure product compliance and sustainability targets are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in category management, merchandising, or buying, preferably within retail or FMCG.
- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and trade partners.
- Precision & Agility – Ability to balance attention to detail with quick, confident decision-making
- Proven financial acumen in managing budgets, pricing, and profitability.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic decisions.
- Experience in sourcing, supply chain, or product development is a plus.
- Passion for the automotive or car care industry is a bonus!
