This is a great opportunity to join a successful High-End Australian manufacturing business in the Blackburn area. This well-established company has a stable, solid history and reputation in High-End and Handmade Timber Products.
This business has a great team attitude from the top down. It is an excellent opportunity. This is a new position that will involve various tasks. You must be flexible with your skills and willing to move around to keep up with demand and assist the team.
Essentially, the role is to join a small team of CNC/multi-cam operators that utilise 3 x Biesse's (including a five-axis), 2 Multi-cams, and a Laser cutter and operate and set these machines. The product is high-end hand finished and sold world wide.
The Key tasks and duties will include;
- Loading and running the CNC Machines
- Maintaining the CNC schedule.
- Assist in all machines such as CNCs, multi-cams, and laser cutters.
- At times liaising with Biesse, multi-cam, and tooling companies.
Everyone within this business works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Solid Timber or Furniture Manufacturing Background
- Multi-Cam & Biesse's CNC
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
