The RoleWe are continuing to expand our portfolio and are on the lookout for a confident Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our team in Birtinya. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience however we do encourage any levels to apply as sometimes it's more about the right 'fit' than the right amount of experience. In this busy and varied role you will work with a broad and diverse range of established clients, providing you with both challenging and interesting work.Reporting directly to a Tax Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide public practice accounting, taxation and related business services to a client base of individuals through to companies operating via various business and investment structures.

It is also home to the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct, which offers world-class hospitals and medical facilities.
What you will bring to the team:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce;Completed, commenced or willing to commence CPA/CA;Previous public practice experience (we are open to level of experience but ideally you will have at least 2 years under your belt);Business Services, Tax and BAS experience;Tax Planning experience;Excellent communication skills is an absolute must;Excellent knowledge of tax compliance & research skills;Ambition to succeed and be able to work autonomously with a great work ethic;Previous experience in XERO & Microsoft Office Suite; andExperience with XPM and business fitness work papers is preferred but not essential.
