Human Resources Payroll Officer

Your New Role

The Shire of Narrogin has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated person with a positive mindset and a genuine interest in people to be the Shire’s Human Resources Payroll Officer.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • previous Human Resources and Payroll experience,
  • previous Occupational Health and Safety experience
  • previous Local Government Customer Service Front Counter experience
  • the ability to work autonomously, pay attention to detail, perform duties with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality whilst also meeting deadlines,
  • effective numeracy, sound problem-solving skills and communications skills
  • excellent customer service and people skills, and
  • the ability to work in a team environment.

The benefits of working with us

  • Salary package range of $70,677 - $88,130 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience inclusive of:
  • Up to 15% with Council superannuation contribution
  • 4 weeks’ annual leave
