The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and professional individual to join our team full time as a Part 42 Airworthiness and Reliability Officer. Reporting directly to the Part 42 Responsible Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Airworthiness Review & Reliability Program for the Maroomba Fleet. Additionally, you will provide technical administration duties and support the Continuing Airworthiness Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Reliability Program and Manual.
- Conduct reliability reporting and data analysis for the Maroomba Fleet Forecast.
- Maintain the technical publications library, ensuring all company data is up to date.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Maroomba Airlines Airworthiness review process.
- Enter completed work packages into the Engineering maintenance database.
- Liaise with Part 145 to ensure timely correction of paperwork issues.
- Maintain data integrity within the Engineering maintenance database, reporting discrepancies to the Part 42 Responsible Manager and correcting as directed.
- Provide feedback to the Part 42 Responsible Manager on the quality of technical record completion.
- Ensure continued Airworthiness Management compliance through regular audits.
- Monitor the recording, filing, and storage of aircraft and component records.
- Furnish monthly utilisation and other reports as directed.
Working Hours
This full-time position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 0730 - 1600.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management activities, or
- 2 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to aircraft airworthiness.
- Knowledge of the aircraft’s certification basis, structure, and systems, including the propulsion system, to at least Level 1 as set out in Appendix III of the Part 66 MOS.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic operational environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Proven ability to communicate and consult with people at all levels.
- High level of experience in customer service.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and coordinate multiple tasks.
- High level of self-motivation and strong attention to detail.

Salary for the position is $85,000 to $95,000 per annum plus superannuation.
