We are seeking a motivated and innovative Accounts Receivable Team Leader that will play a leading role in providing exemplary customer service and specialist advice, and engages team members in the delivery of accurate, reliable and targeted outcomes.

The Accounts Receivable Team Leader manages the accounts receivable, lease revenue and debt management activities for the Department and Statutory Authorities.

This is a permanent full-time position. This recruitment process may be used to fill future similar roles that arise across the WA public sector in the next 12 months.

Our Perth office is located in the Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground rail; close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.

To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a Financial/Accounts Receivable environment, including knowledge of Treasurer’s Instructions, lease and debt management processes.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of a team.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the utilisation of spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Leading Others as outlined below.

Core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations are applicable to this role and should be demonstrated in the context of Leading Others. The expected behaviours may be assessed during the recruitment and selection process.
