- $44.99 per hour plus super plus OT, Quarterly bonus of $1500
- Monday to Friday, On-call weekend breakdown roster rotation, some weekend overflow work available.
- Full-time permanent role in Northgate, Brisbane, QLD
The Opportunity
Based in Northgate on Brisbane’s northside we are seeking to add an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to our expanding team. Reporting to our on-site Maintenance Supervisor, as a part of a 50+ vehicle fleet operation, the day-to-day task that you will be responsible for include routine maintenance tasks, diagnostics and un-planned repair work to our fleet of trucks and trailers as well as test driving and/or operating vehicles to verify repairs have been completed to the required standard.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Valid HR licence and forklift high risk license preferred, though support is available to obtain if required.
- Experience with a range of makes and models of heavy vehicles and trailers including with waste bodies, electrics and or hydraulics will be advantageous.
- Focus on safety and sustainability.
