Description:
Our client is a man in his early thirties with a physical disability, living with his family in Teesdale. He is a great conversationalist and a published author who enjoys video games and spending time with animals. There is a friendly dog in our client’s home.
He is looking for a support worker who is25 years or older to assist with his daily routine, inclusive of personal care with hoist transfers, meal preparation and community access to a local hub for activities, shopping or just getting out and about for some fresh air.
You will be driving the family’s modified van if community access is required in the shift, so you will need an open/full license and to be 25 years old or over.
Detailed training will be provided in his home by our client and his family.
You need to have experience with physical disability and manual handling.
Shift: Mondays from 9am - 4:30pm
