NT Cardiac Pty Ltd (NTC) is a Northern Territory owned and operated independent Cardiology Medical Practice which provides services to both public and private patients. The practice is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, delivering the highest standard of health care across the Northern Territory.
Our specialist practice requires an energetic and motivated team member to fill a full-time Administration Officer (Diagnostic Imaging) position. The primary responsibility of the role is the accurate and efficient administration of diagnostic tests and echocardiograms performed by the practice. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Arranging diagnostic tests and echocardiograms for patients in public hospitals, including obtaining and saving request forms and liaising with clinical and administrative staff if required
- Confirming diagnostic imaging appointments with patients and rebooking tests where required
- Uploading / distributing finalised medical reports to hospital systems and referring medical practitioners
- Assist with routine administrative duties as required
The successful applicant will possess knowledge of (or willingness to learn) medical terminology, computer literacy skills and excellent communication and organisational skills.
This position would suit applicants with good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and works well in both a team environment and independently.
Successful applicants will require full working rights in Australia and undergo a police and working with children check.
