About Farm Door Riverina: Farm Door (formerly MyChef) is a fast growing family-owned ready meals business based in Wagga Wagga NSW. Sourcing local ingredients from across the Riverina food bowl, our team cook and pack delicious fresh and frozen meals.
The role in a sentence: You will be part of our ready meal production team and could work across the meal packing room or dispatch.
The kind of work you may be doing: Depending on your skillset and interest area, your average week may be broken up with:
- Packaging meals in the packing room, taking care with food presentation, labelling, food safety and allergen control.
- Washing up and cleaning duties, working together to maintain the highest food safety standards.
- Supporting the dispatch team in preparing orders for delivery.
Who we are looking for:
- You have hustle. You enjoy being efficient and love systems that allow you to complete a process. You’re happy to do a range of tasks from washing up to being part of a fast moving production line.
- You have a positive approach to change. You may start with washing up… but we move the team around the business so if you are keen to learn and grow, there are opportunities to learn and progress your salary and career.
- You have a high attention to detail and/or experience in Quality Assurance.
- You have food experience (or enjoy good food!). Prior hospitality/production line experience will be looked upon favourably but is not a necessity. Training on the job will be provided.
- You are reliable.

Less fun things include washing up, can get a little chilly in winter, and completing the food safety clean at the end of the day. More fun things include the opportunity to move around the business, learn new skills, listen to music, laugh with the team and free lunches.

Salary/Wage will be negotiated based on experience in line with the food and beverage manufacturing award. Performance incentives and staff rewards also available.
