About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous Chef experience in a similar environment
  • Commercial cookery cert 3 essential
  • Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
  • Proven experience in planning and developing menus
  • Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Ability to prep and organise ahead
  • HACCP experience essential

The Role

As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service, with the smooth day-to-day operation of a commercial kitchen. Leading the team whilst the Head Chef is away.

  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures & safe food handling practices.
  • Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests)
  • Management of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
  • Maintaining a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils
  • Create dishes of high quality that will nourish and delight our guests.
  • Fast, effective service provided with a smile
  • Assist in overseeing all kitchen employees, including training and performance development.
