About the role:
Due to ongoing growth and future acquisitions planned , we are seeking TWO (2) motivated Intermediate to Senior Accountants to provide overall support and taxation advice to a wide range of our clients. This will include the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs.
You’ll be comfortable with bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and business management on a variety of software (including MYOB and Xero) as well as liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required.
Due to the nature of this role, we need someone with the right level of experience to work on more complex jobs that come with 3 or more years of experience in Public practice.
Our head office is based in Tuggerah on the Central Coast with another office in Crows Nest (North of Sydney CBD) and Tamworth. We also offer some work-from-home options after 6 months of employment.
There is one position available at our Central Coast location and one at Crows Nest.
About you:
You will be on your way to being a CA/CPA-qualified professional with comprehensive knowledge of relevant tax legislation. You will also have experience in a tax and business services role within a professional practice firm.
Your advanced communication skills will see you both delight our clients and support our accounting team and partners as required. Sound knowledge of FBT, Payroll Tax, Land Tax, Workers Compensation, and Tax Planning strategies would be perfect.
