Join Seymour Whyte for the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Upgrade Project, a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture with John Holland and focused on enhancing the rail transport network between Beerburrum and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. The project is due for completion in 2027. About the Project: The B2N Upgrade once completed will improve the North Coast Line, making travel faster and better connecting the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane. The project involves duplicating the North Coast Line, upgrading the Beerburrum Road and Steve Irwin Way intersection with a new overpass, expanding the park 'n' ride at Beerburrum Station, and replacing the Barrs Road level crossing with a new overpass. It also involves closing two private crossings, replacing the Burgess Street bridge, and completing early works like new park 'n' ride facilities at Landsborough and Nambour Stations, along with a 1km realignment of Steve Irwin Way. This is a unique opportunity to work on a landmark project that will benefit both local communities and the broader Queensland region. We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from experienced Site Engineers with a background in either major rail work packages, civil earthworks, or structural engineering to join our delivery team on the B2N Upgrade Project. As a member of the project team, you will be responsible for: Managing quality production and monitoring construction progress.Establishing, measuring and reporting daily productivity.Undertaking cost controlling and estimating as required by the Project Manager.Develop, monitor, and report on programmes for elements of work.Managing work teams in the field.
