Jared Poole Design Architects is a modern, progressive Architecture practice centrally located in Surfers Paradise.

A working knowledge of residential and commercial construction, including a strong understanding of the BCA and Australian Standards is required, together with a willingness to contribute innovative ideas, lead projects and a desire to become part of a collaborative team.
This role will require you to work closely with team members and consultants to develop and refine design concepts and to produce and coordinate complete drawing packages and specifications.
About you:
- Experienced Architect or Architectural Draftsperson with 7+ years experience
- Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD (Macintosh platform experience preferred)
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and relevant industry experience
- Deadline focused and detailed oriented, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines whilst ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to engage with colleagues, clients and consultants
- An ability to identify and analyse design challenges and develop innovative and practical solutions
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with clients and collaborating with consultants
- Prepare detailed architectural documentation packages from design development to tender & construction issue documentation
- Management of the full project life cycle - including scope, time and cost.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- The ability, creativity and initiative to design and develop drawings whilst maintaining high quality work standards and meeting project deadlines
