The deco lounge is the beating heart of the hotel, it's a transitional space: from day to night, indoor to outdoor, with a diversified food and beverage offer.
The Opportunity
We are now inviting applications from a friendly and social F&B Event Service Expert to work in our relaxed and timeless Deco lounge. In this role, you will be responsible for providing our guests with warm and engaging customer service at the art deco inspired heart of the hotel. You will be responsible for delivering all day dining experience with Tasmania's finest highlight ingredients, maintaining a warm high level of service, entertain our regulars and create everlasting memories.
About You
- Experience working in a similar position in a luxury hotel or hospitality venue.
- Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
- Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
- Passion and knowledge about food & beverage products
- Excellent communication skills with warm personality both in person and via mail
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Valid DoFoodSafely Certificate
- Full working rights in Australia
- Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
