About the roles - Permanent, full time based in Adelaide
We have multiple opportunities within the Lending Delivery team; one role supports the loan document preparation and/or settlement process, and the other is a dedicated support to service our broker support phone line working to deliver an outstanding experience. This role will also build scope to develop into other areas of the team, building your knowledge base and contributing to their success. Both roles are part of our wider lending teams who provide support to our brokers.
In our document prep and settlement team you will be responsible for the processing lending applications. The role covers all aspects of the loan verifications including employment and income checks, title searches, valuations, loan documents, loan reviews and memberships whilst providing clear communication and updates to the mortgage broker and supporting departments. By working in collaboration with your stakeholders, you will ensure the best outcome for the broker and our members, but also maintain a high level of risk management and awareness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurate and timely Home Loan verifications including but not limited to:
- Verifying the input of applications into the origination system
- Employment and income checks
- Title Searches
- Valuations
- Loan Document ordering, posting, and collating back to Lending Support
- Ensure all outstanding loan verification items and policy requirements are satisfied to achieve settlement
- Full loan reviews ensuring all risks have been identified and addressed
- Collate and action documentation required for settlement to be achieved
- Providing regular updates to mortgage brokers within agreed service level agreements.
- Membership handovers
- Demonstrate compliance with policies and procedures to effectively operate within People First Bank’s risk appetite
Broker Support line
- Effectively service broker inbound call activity;
- Ensure inbound calls are answered and actioned within a timely manner
- Effectively resolve broker enquiry at point of call or redirect enquiry to the appropriate source
- All broker voicemails are responded to within 1 hour
- Maintain inbound call service standard (performance metrics)
About you
As a strong communicator, you strive to deliver seamless and superior customer service. You have a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate accuracy through your written and verbal communication skills. Ideally you will bring prior lending experience or extensive knowledge of the home loan process.
