The role:
Boodjara is seeking a full-time Accounts Clerk interested in joining our growing team in the South of the River Metro area.
Disciplined, self-motivated, and with a bias for action, the Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing support to the General Manager and conducting the following activities:
- Employee Payroll.
- Accounts Recievable.
- Accounts Payable.
- All tax payment preperation.
- Long Service Leave preperation.
- Financial forceasting.
To be considered, candidates will have:
- 3-5 year's experience working in a similar role.
- High level of competency in Xero accounting software or competent in similar accounting software.
- Extensive experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, EOM and EOFY reconciliations.
- Financial accounting experience in chartered accounting/audit environment.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook). Advanced Excel user desired.
