About The Facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
Barwon Health offers Residential Aged Care Services at Alan David Lodge in Grovedale where we offer focused professional development with dedicated nursing educators, set within new state-of-the-art facilities. Alan David Lodge is a 108 bed home located just minutes away from the vibrant and picturesque Victorian Coastline. Barwon Health’s Residential Aged Care program has a full and varied Lifestyle Program and we encourage you to maintain a good level of activity and socialisation
Providing The Ageing Population With a Safe And Accessible Environment And Quality Care Is a Priority For Our Aged Care Staff. To Ensure Accountability, All Services That Offer Residential Aged Care Services Must Report On Their Performance Against The Five Public Sector Residential Aged Care Quality Indicators
