About the role
We have a great opportunity for you to join ELGAS as an Customer Service Manager . Based out of Tamworth NSW , you will not only be responsible for building customer relations and retention, but also seeking and converting new business prospects.
What you will enjoy doing
- Responsible for management and development of employees/contractors
- You'll focus on managing and developing your team of employees and contractors to achieve business outcomes and drive a leading safety culture.
- In this role, you will be managing margin and pricing, reconciliation and accounting of all stock, equipment and materials
- Ensure our customers receive LPG in a safe and timely manner from professional drivers using cost effective transport strategies
- Also you will be responsible for ensuring our tanks, cylinders, vehicles, equipment and depots are safe to operate and maintained/replaced as legally required
- You will have to prepare annual budgets and monthly performance reports
- Being responsible for the day to day running of the branch including achievement of budgeted profit targets, managing customers, contractors, distributors / pricing/ inventory/ vehicles/ safety / and depot operations
What makes you great
- You have experience in people management and sales
- Strong negotiation skills with proven performance to cost budgets
- If you have previous experience in Logistics and Transport will be a plus
- This role requires to hold a driver's licence
