Description:
As Logistics Coordinator at Mars, you will work with rigorous control and optimization of logistics costs, together with constantly looking for and delivering service improvements in each of our business units.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally, relevant qualification such as a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
- ERP-systems knowledge or relevant will be an advantage.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal colleagues as well as external service providers.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Execute export operations delivering service (CSL), cash (inventory) and cost (Logistics, NQC) KPI’s for MFA, and represent Affiliate markets and export partners in all forums at MFA (Partner with supply planning, demand planning and sales teams).
- 3rd party relationship management: manage and collaborate with 3PL providers and clearing agents as part of responsibilities for coordinating end to end finished goods export operations to affiliate and export partners.
- Implement, maintain and develop Supply Chain management standards and strategies for outbound Export & Affiliate operations (KPI reporting and project execution).
- Regulatory compliance functional expert to ensure we are informed and meet requirements for existing and new export activities (partnering with SRA and 3rd party agents).
- Network assessment for outbound shipments in close cooperation with the GOT to optimize shipping cost and lead times based on pipeline requirements.
- Develop, manage and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all customers including periodic affiliate reviews for export activities and demand/supply collaborations with export customers.
- Responsible for system application and management and cost administration for export activities.
