Fixed Term / full-time appointment (2 years)Level 10: Attractive remuneration package availableThe Future Student Systems Project (FSSP) is a multi-year transformative initiative designed to align systems, technology, and digital solutions to enhance the experience of future UOW students and drive internal efficiencies in student recruitment, admissions operations and reporting.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the FSSP in its early stages and work to establish business requirements, align systems and digital solutions, plan and prioritise project phases, and communicate project objectives and outcomes to stakeholders and executive management. The position will also secure future project phases and funding through advocacy and business case development.
Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will manage and coordinate any in-flight project phases, aligning internal resources and subject matter experts, reporting outcomes, and managing partner/vendor relationships.
Candidates should have a degree or equivalent in project management, IT, business, marketing, management, communications, or relevant experience/training. Essential experience includes managing complex systems implementations, engaging and managing vendor relationships, and driving toward agreed outcomes. The role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships, influence senior management, develop business cases for funding, and lead change amid competing priorities.
